XVenture Experience, Norwest Business Park, 25th September 2015
General Terms and Conditions for Company (team) Registration
The Australian Institute Leadership Pty Ltd, trading as XVenture, at Suite 7, 871 Pacific Highway, Chatswood, NSW 2067 is 'the Organiser'.
The Organiser will be delivering the XVenture Experience (“the Experience”), where teams of individuals ("Participants") from a Company (a 'Team”) engage in a series of leadership and team building Experiences in competition against other Teams taking place in Norwest Business Park (the “Venue”), commencing at The Hills Shire Council, 3 Columbia Court, Baulkham Hills, NSW 2153 on 25th September 2015.


The Authorized Representative (team leader) of the Company (team) acknowledges the following:

• Teams must consist of 6 Participants with Participants covered under the Company's workers compensation insurance.
• The XVenture Experience is suitable for people 18 years and over with a basic level of fitness. This is not an extreme sporting event.
• The Company shall release all persons and corporations associated directly or indirectly with the Experience (including its directors, partners, managers, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and volunteers including any medical and paramedical personnel appointed for the Experience) from all claims demands and proceedings arising out of the Company's participants. The Company indemnifies them against all liability (including liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) for all injury, loss or damage arising out of participation in the Experience.
• The Organiser may take some photographs and footage of the Experience. This is for promotional purposes of Norwest Business Park and The Hills Shire Council.
• The Organiser may use the Company's information to conduct the Experience.
• The Company permits the Organiser to use the Company logo for the purposes of creating the team shirt, which will be forwarded to the Company’s Representative for approval prior to the Experience.

 

Cancellation/ Refunds and Termination of the Experience

Registration fee is non-refundable but individual team members can be replaced.
If for whatever reason the Program is cancelled by the Organiser, any Fees paid will be refunded in full.
The Organiser reserves the right to postpone, change or cancel specific elements of the Program due to weather conditions.
The Organiser will keep the Company informed of changes to this information via the Company's Representative.

 

Individual Terms and Conditions for Participation
The Australian Institute Leadership Pty Ltd, trading as XVenture, at Suite 7, 871 Pacific Highway, Chatswood, NSW 2067 is 'the Organiser'.
The Organiser will be delivering the XVenture Experience (“the Experience”), where teams of individuals ("Participants") from a Company (a 'Team”) engage in a series of leadership and team building Experiences in competition against other Teams taking place in Norwest Business Park (the “Venue”), commencing at The Hills Shire Council, 3 Columbia Court, Baulkham Hills, NSW 2153 on 25th September 2015.
Participation in the Experience is contingent of acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions:

• You will abide by the directions of the Organiser and/or their representative at all times during your participation in the Experience;
• You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own personal safety during the Experience at all times and although the Organiser and its service providers attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury within practical boundaries, accidents do happen, and physical activities carry the risk of personal injury. During the Experience risks or injury may be caused by over exhaustion, dehydration, accidents with other participants, the weather (to name a few).
• You acknowledge that the Experience is taking place in an environment where there is vehicular traffic and roads. You indemnify the Organiser and the Venue against any claims which result in injury, or death.
• You understand that you should not participate in the Experience unless you have a basic level of fitness.
• If necessary, you consent to receive any medical treatment, including ambulance transportation, during the Experience or on conclusion of the Experience. You also undertake to pay or reimburse costs which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and drugs while you are attending the Experience.
• You will release the Organiser from any claim or future claim arising from your participation in the Experience and you agree that the rights granted by you in this Release Form are binding on you in accordance with the above terms.
• The Organiser may take some photographs and footage of the Experience. This is for promotional purposes of Norwest Business Park and The Hills Shire Council.

 

PRIVACY STATEMENT

The Organiser will collect and store the information you voluntarily provide to enable processing of enrolments for the Experience. The information will be provided to relevant staff and be provided to medical professionals where necessary. You consent to these disclosures. Any information provided by you will be stored on a database that will only be accessed by authorised personnel and is subject to privacy restrictions. The information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected.
