While visiting Winton Motor Raceway, why not take a drive and discover the beauty that North East Victoria has to offer.
From local produce and award winning wineries, to getting amongst nature and travelling on the ‘Murray to Mountains Rail Trail’ there are plenty of hidden secrets to discover in the North East.
Get started on your adventure by heading towards the Milawa and King Valley regions. Here you will find unbelievable local produce from the Milawa Cheese Factory, Milawa Mustards and EV Olives just to name a few. The small townships of Milawa and Oxley is where your own discovery of local wineries can begin with Brown Brothers, Sam Miranda, John Gehrig and more. Once stocked up with all the local goodies, head up the road to discover the picturesque surrounds of the King Valley, coming across family owned and operated wineries such as La Cantina, Gracebrook Vineyards, Dal Zotto Estate Wines, Pizzini Wines, Station Creek, Paul Bettio, Chrismont Wines and many more. From the King Valley you can make your way over the mountain to Mansfield, or come back on the Wangaratta-Whitfield Road and cross over the freeway to Glenrowan to experience the true history of the region with Ned Kelly and the Gang.
As mentioned if you’re feeling adventurous, get out on the mountain bike and jump on the Murray to Mountains rail trail which will lead you from Wangaratta all the way up to Myrtleford, Bright and can loop back around through Beechworth. While up this way you will find plenty of places to dine out, as well as local boutique breweries for an ale;The Bright Brewery and Bridge Road Brewers in Beechworth.

Winton is a 3.0km circuit in the national configuration and a 2.03km circuit in the Club configuration.
Located near Benalla just off the Hume Higway, Victoria. Established in 1961 the circuit has been in operation for over 50 years.
Winton plays host to Motorcycle, Motor Car and Superkart racing as well as having vehicle product testing facilities.
